The Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition
Ms. LeMesh recently won First Prize in The Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition hosted in Weill Recital Hall. Since 1977 the Oratorio Society of New York has hosted this solo competition to encourage the art of oratorio singing and to give young singers an opportunity to advance their careers. Ms. LeMesh performed Vivaldi's Nulla in mundo pax sincera, RV 630 and Brahms' Ihr habt nun Traurigkeit from Ein deutsches Requiem, Op. 45.

PARTNERS FOR THE ARTS NATIONAL OPERA COMPETITION

Ms. LeMesh recently won First Prize in the PARTNERS for the Arts, Inc. National Opera Competition. Hosted in Washington, D.C., PARTNERS for the Arts, Inc. encourages and promotes singers for professional careers through awards competitions, concerts, partnerships, and musical and educational events. The judges for this year's competition included Christopher Cano, Elizabeth Futral, and Timothy Nelson.
